The Reading and Writing for Results approach offers a unique blend of ingredients based on Trevor Day’s 25 years’ experience as a writer, lecturer, trainer and coach. Writer or co-author of more than 35 books and numerous articles, Trevor has worked with some of the biggest publishing names in Britain and the United States. His works have sold in dozens of countries and have been translated into more than 15 languages.

Trevor’s writing experience ranges from press releases for the UK’s largest government research council and reports for management consultants, to guidebook-writing for a £97-million science, nature and arts complex, to children’s books, academic articles and features for the national press. Trevor brings this breadth of experience to bear in working with clients and workshop participants whatever their background and level of experience. Trevor works with seasoned professionals as well as those new to business, academic and other forms of reading and writing.

Hand in hand with his publishing background goes Trevor’s expertise as a facilitator, trainer and coach. Trevor is a qualified teacher, an experienced middle manager, and a learning consultant to a variety of organisations. He coaches and trains in non-fiction writing and reading skills at several UK universities. Trevor has a background in counselling, is a Master Practitioner of Neuro-linguistic Programming, and holds a PhD in Education from the University of Bath, a top-ten university in the UK.

Trevor has the ‘soft’ skills to work with clients and workshop participants on sensitive issues and the ‘hard’ skills to understand and respond to an organisation’s needs and deliver an outstanding return on investment.
